Chassis
Features: Monocoque chassis
Thickness: 156mm
Material: Plastic honeycomb, woven cloth, fiberglass, chop ceramic glass fiber, tissue, APT resin
The chassis is made of composite materials covered mostly on the bottom of the lower shell. The material is layered and laminated together by resin as in the Figure 1. The roll panel and bulkhead wall also made of the same material and technique. The monocoque chassis been used as it is the simplest yet a light weight material which is 15kg for the whole lower shell. Most of the components are mounted on the chassis and used a special technique to avoid the composite materials from damaged. For each hole made will be inserted a hollow tube to protect the bolt from damaging the surface on the hole.
